  • To generate your career map, readiness scores, and skill gap analysis
  • To match you with relevant professionals
  • To facilitate messaging and communication between matched users
  • To calculate and maintain trust scores within the network
  • To send you communications including daily briefs, notifications, and account updates

  • To improve the platform based on usage patterns
  • To create anonymized, aggregated insights about career trends and professional development patterns

3. AI Processing

We use artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini) to analyze your professional profile, generate career maps, suggest matches, and provide personalized recommendations through our AI assistant, Donna. Donna also analyzes publicly available industry news to provide career-relevant commentary and insights on the Huddle Reads section of our platform. Your personal data is processed to provide these features and is not used to train third-party AI models.

4. How We Share Your Information

Anonymized and aggregated data

We may share anonymized, aggregated insights derived from career trends, professional development patterns, and workforce signals with third-party partners for audience research, career intelligence, advertising, and other commercial purposes. Examples include aggregated insights like "marketing professionals targeting VP-level roles" or "professionals actively developing GTM strategy skills." You can opt out of contributing to these insights at any time through your Settings page.

Identity-linked data

We may share hashed or pseudonymized identifiers (such as hashed email addresses) with data partners for audience matching, measurement, and advertising purposes. These identifiers do not reveal your personal information in plain text but may be used to connect your activity on Huddle with other services. You can opt out of this through your Settings page.

Service providers

We share data with service providers who help us operate the platform. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data:

  • With your matches: When Donna creates a match, both users can see each other's profile information, match reasoning, and value exchange.
  • Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
  • Google Cloud (Gemini AI): AI-powered career mapping and recommendations.
  • Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and expert session payments. Stripe collects payment card details directly; we do not store card numbers.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Twilio: SMS notifications.
  • Google Analytics 4 & ContentSquare: Product analytics and experience optimization.
  • Vercel: Application hosting and edge network.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security policies on our database, authenticated file uploads with malware scanning, and secure OAuth-based authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.

If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Anonymized, aggregated data that does not identify you may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights and Choices
