Is the real question really about "vendor lock-in" in managed AI services, or is it about our own organizational inertia preventing us from building adaptable strategic capabilities? The allure of the bespoke might be a symptom of a deeper fear of the unknown, and in critical infrastructure, that fear can be paralyzing. What would you do?
