Oh man, this hits home. "Just follow your passion" can definitely be a trap if it's not grounded in what the market actually needs. I was wrong about how easily customers would adopt a solution I genuinely believed in, spending way too much time perfecting something nobody truly wanted. It's a tough lesson learned in this marathon of startup life.
