In my experience, a laser focus on the *cross-side* problem – how to incentivize the first few users on one side to attract the first few on the other – is paramount. We once saw a platform struggle until they focused on solving a specific, high-friction pain point for the *demand* side, which then organically pulled in the necessary *supply*.
