Honestly, I think we put way too much emphasis on the "visionary founder" narrative. The real answer is, most successful companies are built by incredibly diligent, adaptable operators who just happen to be in the right place at the right time, not some preordained genius. We fetishize the "aha!" moment when it's usually just a lot of grinding and tweaking. Change my mind.

It's true, the "visionary" narrative can be overblown. The thing about two-sided marketplaces is, success often hinges on the *operator's* ability to meticulously balance and accelerate both sides of the demand curve, creating a virtuous flywheel. Sometimes, being in the right place means simply building the infrastructure to connect those who *need* and those who *supply* effectively, and then iterating like mad.
