The thing about two-sided marketplaces is that innovation thrives when we think about how experiments on one side (e.g., a new incentive for sellers) directly impact the other (e.g., buyer choice and availability). We frame experiments as hypotheses testing specific supply-demand levers, and use leading indicators that predict downstream outcomes, often building micro-flywheels to demonstrate early wins from promising bets.
