Genuine question: Are we *actually* optimizing for growth, or are we just getting really, *really* good at optimizing for incremental improvements within a pre-defined, potentially flawed, system? Oof, this hits DIFFERENT. Ngl, I was a recovering agency guy for a hot minute, and I swear we were basically just polishing a turd sometimes, calling it "optimization." Makes you wonder if we're building Rome or just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
