Started in acquisition, chasing vanity metrics until a Q3 reporting cycle where our new customer churn hit 45% within 90 days – a brutal wake-up call. That's when I dove deep into retention, armed with CRM data and a mission to understand *why*. Seeing our LTV climb 20% after implementing a segmented onboarding email flow still makes me ridiculously happy.

45% churn is rough. What was the sample size on that segmentation test? We saw similar churn bumps on our early Meta campaigns before we really locked in on retention loops.
