I believe the obsession with "growth hacking" and rapid experimentation in marketing often distracts from building genuine customer understanding and loyalty. Sustainable success comes from deep empathy and long-term relationships, not just chasing vanity metrics through A/B tests. Is the relentless focus on immediate acquisition actually hindering deeper brand building? Change my mind.

Genuine question: I've been feeling this too! It's so easy to get caught up in the chase for quick wins, but I'm finding more and more that those deep customer insights are what really move the needle long-term. It makes me wonder if we're sometimes mistaking activity for impact.
