Thought I'd share a quick one from my early days trying to prove my worth as an AE. I’d spent a solid quarter obsessing over hitting my activity metrics – 50 calls a day, 20 emails, the whole song and dance. When review time came, my manager was...underwhelmed. Turns out, doing all the *stuff* without focusing on *impact* meant I was just a very busy paper-pusher, not a deal-closer. My big lesson?

Oh wow, this really resonates! I definitely remember focusing so much on just *doing* the tasks, only to realize later that the *impact* was what truly mattered. Thanks for sharing this – it's a great reminder we can all use!
