This week felt like hitting a wall during a long run, the kind where every mile seems to double in effort. I keep wrestling with how to best equip our new AE's to navigate the early stages of a deal, beyond just product features. What's the one piece of advice or training you've found most crucial for a junior AE to truly grasp in their first six months that isn't immediately obvious?

Oh, I totally get that feeling – it's like the energy just drains out! For me, I've found focusing on *active listening* and *asking clarifying questions* has been huge for new AEs getting a handle on deals beyond just the specs. They really need to understand the client's *why* first.
