ABOUT POSH We are all social creatures, but the dominant “social” companies today have evolved into digital loneliness machines, driving isolation, anxiety, and mental health challenges around the world. Human connection is lost. Posh is a beacon guiding us back. Posh enables anyone to build an IRL community based on shared interests, while connecting consumers with the communities of people just like them. Founded by event organizers who were frustrated with the growing loneliness epidemic and the tools available to build their own event brand, we’ve built the ultimate platform for launching, monetizing, and finding IRL communities of people just like you. In just 6 years, Posh has grown to a team of 70, expanded to 8M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $350M in transactions. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale the systems behind Posh's platform. You'll take ownership of backend services already running at real scale, with organizers and attendees on the other end of everything you ship. This is a hands-on IC role. You'll design APIs and services, make architecture calls that hold up under load, and push code quality up across teams beyond your own. You'll also mentor engineers earlier in their careers. This is an in-person role at our New York City office in SoHo, 5 days a week onsite. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Build and maintain the services and APIs that power Posh's platform, writing production code daily. - Take end-to-end ownership of the backend systems you work on, from design through deployment and on-call. - Address performance and reliability issues as usage grows, evolving systems already in production rather than designing around problems on paper. - Instrument what you build and design security in from the start rather than adding it later. - Build data models and pipelines that give organizers and the business actionable insight. - Contribute to design

ABOUT THE ROLE As VP of Engineering, you'll be the executive owner of engineering velocity, quality, and culture at Posh — accountable for the org that ships the React web platform that runs 10k organizer businesses a month, the React Native consumer app powering event discovery for 1m MAUs, and the AI and platform infrastructure that will define the next chapter of how IRL communities are built. You will manage a team of ~25 engineers that is quickly expanding: your mandate is to take it from here, establishing scalable yet nimble processes & org structure that turn Posh into a world-class engineering organization. Your day-to-day will involve: - Partnering closely with product to prioritize a cohesive roadmap that addresses both business objectives and deep technical requirements - Creating the engineering vision & storytelling how we’ll get there - Hiring, performance management, & elevating the talent bar - Mentoring & empowering leaders and ICs alike - Setting a tone of urgency, ambition, and craft that makes work both exciting and fulfilling This role reports directly to our CEO, operating as one of the the most visible and intense roles at

In just 6 years, Posh has grown to a team of 70, expanded to 8M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $350M in transactions. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Lead Product Manager at Posh, you'll own the future of the consumer app — specifically, how event discovery and social discovery work on Posh. This is one of the most wide-open, highest-leverage problem spaces in the company because you will be building the re-engagement loop that turns a single event attendee into someone who comes back to Posh again and again to find their next experience and their people across multiple verticals. You won't be handed a roadmap. Your job will be to work with UXR, design, GTM, and leadership to define what discovery means on Posh. This means running top-of-funnel product discovery and visioning work, then translating that vision into multiple concurrent, shippable bets and prototypes. Some of that means well funded, first-to-market bets with no established playbook. You'll need to be equally comfortable in ambiguous "what should this even be" territory and in disciplined, metrics-driven execution on bets we’re more confident in. Because Posh is a two-sided marketplace, none of this happens in isolation. Every discovery and engagement bet you make will stitch back to organizer success creating a success

ABOUT THE ROLE As our Head of People, you will own the entire people function — People Operations, Culture, and Talent — and with it the full arc of every teammate's experience: how they're found, how they're hired, how they ramp, how they grow, and the environment they do the best work of their careers in. You will shape a culture that pairs an extremely high performance bar with the trust, values, and stability that empowers great people to do exactly that. This is a true player-coach role reporting directly to the CEO, leading a team of 2: our Director of Talent (who runs recruiting, with a Talent Lead reporting to him) and our Culture Lead. You will set the strategy that ties People, Culture, and Talent together into one system — a single talent bar from first outreach through every promotion and exit decision — while personally owning the operational machinery underneath it: performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, compliance, and the policies and agreements that keep a fast-scaling NY-headquartered company running cleanly. You're joining at a pivotal moment. We're eager to build a world class team and the leader

Brand is the only moat that compounds without code. Posh isn't a product people quietly use — it's an aesthetic, a lifestyle, a culture people identify with. As we scale past 10M users and the consumer + organizer surface area expands, the way Posh looks, sounds, and feels is what will separate us from being one of many event platforms and being the cultural home of IRL community. As Brand Designer, you'll own the visual and creative identity of Posh end-to-end — defining what the brand looks like across every surface, leading the in-house and agency talent that brings it to life, and setting the bar that every campaign, asset, and touchpoint is held to. You'll personally create where it matters most and orchestrate where it scales, holding the line on a brand that earns a place in people's lives, not just their feeds. Your work will span across 2 core areas: - Brand & Culture: Owning brand identity, campaigns, content, merchandise, partnerships, event activations, and the storytelling that lives on TikTok, Instagram, and IRL — the work that makes Posh feel like a movement, not a marketplace. - GTM Creative System: Setting and defending the creative bar
